Ever feel like you can’t meet a nice career-minded girl or meet other “professionals” like yourself? Well, let me introduce you to the Austin Gay Professionals group.
Austin Gay Professionals is a network set up through MeetUp.com for hard workin’ Lesbian and Gay folks that want to mingle, network, and socialize together. There are over 300 members, and they meet pretty regularly—creating a fun way for ladies to expand their circles, whether they are new to town or just wanting to connect with fresh faces.
Events include “happy hours, coffee hours, dinners, dancing, sports (how about kite flying?) and other community events.” Sounds like a well rounded bunch that know how to have fun, if ya ask me. I do believe there are boys there (which we love), but it’s exciting to see that it’s organized by a lovely woman named Paula.
The next scheduled event takes place on Sunday, December 6th—at a vineyard! Oh, sign me up, girl. It’s a wine tasting at Driftwood Estates Vineyard west of Austin. Starts at 2pm, and costs just $10 for the private tasting (8 wines—yum!). They are requesting advance sign up (by 12/5) and payment via PayPal.
