If you’ve missed the feel of the pigskin, the rush of catching the winning touchdown, the inappropiate jokes in the huddle, and slappin your teammates on the ass…here’s your chance to get back in the game. Flag football season is upon us!
Since there is really no LGBT league in Austin, our lesbian community has pretty much created it’s own by taking over the city’s women’s recreational flag football division. Three teams - No Clue, The Shockers, and The Flag Hags – have already signed up for the season – BUT two more teams are needed!!
Here are the details if you are interested in getting a team together and registering for the spring season:
There will be 5 teams in the divison. Games start the week of March 22nd and are played on Monday nights. Team registration costs $385 for the season. Teams generally consist of around 12 people…but you can have as many as you want! The games take place at the fields on Robert E. Lee off of Barton Springs Rd (next to Zilker Park).

Hi Ladies! So glad y’all are interested in playing. Here’s the scoop – the league manager just emailed saying the league still needs TWO more teams to sign up for us to have a full roster of teams. I’m pretty sure the 3 teams that are already signed up have enough players on them. SO – it’s up to you to create your own team!! yay!! So, rally up all your friends and form a team!
