Friday’s focus at Red Fez is on the gay community. Ramesh (lead singer of Voxtrot) and Sam&tha Garrett are DJing. They are both gay, so, you know, they want all the gays to come and just share in some dirty disco dancing for a night. Music will range from house to gay disco to kitschy new wave and post punk, basically anything you can dance to, but no hip hop. NO COVER!

***GALA – Golf Among Ladies Association***
GALA is a lesbian only golf league, which plays monthly at the public courses. While you do not have to be a good player, you do have to have played so that you know course etiquette and how to get around 18 holes. The format is a four person best ball scramble which allows women of all abilities to participate. There are prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive and the team with the least amount of putts.

It’s like a big savager hunt for crazy adults.
Its a mixed crowd and anyone is welcome. We are raising money for the National MS Society. We are asking for a $ 5.00 donation.
We will have prizes for the best dress white trash folks.
It’s a extra chance to dress up and act crazy during the year. Or just come hang out and meet some new people.

This is a unique opportunity to experience an evening of music and memories featuring a unique orchestra consisting entirely of local gay and lesbian musicians, and their friendly allies. Guest soloist for this event is UT professor and violin virtuoso Brian Lewis. A cocktail reception of hors d, oeuvres and dessert will follow, as well as a chance to bid on valuable products and services from local businesses at a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit the Austin Pride Festival, which will be held June 3-6 at the Long Center. Everyone is encouraged to purchase tickets online at austinpride.org, or at the door. Prices are $25 and include both the concert, as well as the reception afterwards.
